Job summary

Cheung & Co. is looking for a Junior Paralegal to support our legal team in Hong Kong. You will assist solicitors by drafting legal correspondence, organizing case files, and performing essential research to prep cases.

You will interview clients, gather information, and handle simple documents independently, with opportunities for on-the-job training. Strong English and Chinese writing skills are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' practical experience in a legal firm.
• Experience in Probate and/or Civil Litigation and/or Criminal Litigation and/or Family Matters preferred.
• Authorized clerks will be considered favorably.
• Good command of written English and Chinese.
• Able to draft simple legal documents and handle files independently.

Responsibilities

• Assisting solicitors in preparing and drafting legal correspondence and documents.
• Conducting client interviews and gathering relevant information for cases.
• Organizing and maintaining case files and documents.
• Conducting legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
• Providing administrative support to solicitors as needed.
