Job summary

ST Engineering Urban Solutions is seeking a Project Manager for Rail Power Systems to lead end-to-end delivery of LTA rail power projects, including Power SCADA, ETTS, SCC, PMS, and related networks. You will supervise design, procurement, manufacturing, testing, and handover, ensuring safety, quality and on-time performance.

The role requires 5+ years in railway or related projects, strong leadership, and familiarity with cybersecurity and high-availability architectures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in railway, SCADA, power distribution, automation, or infrastructure projects.
• Proven project management experience in LTA or railway system projects.
• Hands-on technical leadership for Power SCADA, ETTS, SCC, and PMS.
• Strong knowledge of industrial Ethernet and communication networks.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity and high-availability architectures.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage project execution from design, procurement, manufacturing, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Deliver projects within approved schedule, budget, and contractual requirements.
• Provide technical leadership for Power SCADA, ETTS, SCC, PMS, and related railway power systems.
• Review system architecture, engineering deliverables, and interface designs.
• Lead FAT, SAT, integrated testing, commissioning, and customer acceptance activities.
• Manage project risks, resources, subcontractors, vendors, and key stakeholders.
• Coordinate technical interfaces across power, communications and station systems.
• Drive issue resolution, change management, and project recovery plans.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and act as the primary contact for project matters.
• Support tendering activities, technical proposals, resource planning, and project strategy.

Role Summary

Lead the end-to-end delivery of LTA rail power system projects, including Power SCADA, ETTS, Station Control Cubicles (SCC), PMS, communication networks, and system integration. The role combines strong project management capabilities with sound technical expertise to ensure successful project delivery in terms of safety, quality, schedule, cost, and technical performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project execution from design, procurement, manufacturing, testing, commissioning, and handover.

• Provide technical leadership and oversight for Power SCADA, ETTS, SCC, PMS, and related railway power systems.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer, Automation Engineering, or related discipline.

• Mins 5+ years of experience in railway, SCADA, power distribution, automation, or infrastructure projects.

• Proven project management experience in LTA or railway system projects.

• Strong knowledge of:

• Power SCADA and ETTS

• Station Control Systems (SCC/PMS)

• Industrial Ethernet and communication networks

• System integration, testing, and commissioning

• Cybersecurity and high-availability architectures

• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is an advantage.
