Job summary

ConnectedGroup is seeking a Project Manager / Programme Manager in Hong Kong to lead end-to-end cloud platform modernization, upgrades, and migration efforts. You will define roadmaps, track milestones, and coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners across cloud platforms and infrastructure domains.

The role requires 5–8+ years in technical PM within enterprise environments, with strong knowledge of Azure, AWS, or private clouds, and experience in governance and security

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of technical project management experience in enterprise environments.
• Experience leading large scale infrastructure transformations or cloud deployments.
• Knowledge of cloud architectures (Azure/AWS/private cloud) and related technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end platform evergreen-ing, infrastructure upgrades, cloud deployments, and migration workstreams.
• Develop project plans, define critical paths, track milestones, and map dependencies across cloud, virtualization, storage, and networks.
• Coordinate vendors, SI partners, and internal teams through design, delivery, and transition phases.
• Ensure cloud initiatives meet governance and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare design specs, runbooks, and translate metrics into business impacts for stakeholders.

I am currently helping our Client seeking a Project Manager / Programme Manager to join the team in Hong Kong.

Your role:

• Project & Delivery Management: Lead end-to-end platform evergreening, infrastructure upgrades, private/hybrid cloud deployments, and application migration workstreams.
• Roadmap & Dependency Mapping: Develop comprehensive project plans, define critical paths, track milestones, and map technical inter-dependencies across cloud platforms, virtualization, storage, and networks.
• Vendor & SI Coordination: Manage external vendors, third-party system integrators, and cross-functional internal teams through design, hardware/software delivery, and operational transition.
• Regulatory & Compliance Oversight: Ensure all cloud initiatives align with internal governance and external regulatory expectations.
• Documentation & Reporting: Prepare design specs, runbooks, operational transition plans, and translate complex technical metrics into clear business impacts for senior stakeholders.

Ideally you have:

• Education: University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 to 8+ years of technical project management experience in enterprise environments, large-scale infrastructure transformations, or private/hybrid cloud deployments within financial services.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with cloud architectures (Azure, AWS, or private cloud), virtualization, APIs, middleware, identity access management (IAM), and network security.
