Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Project Manager (Agile Expert) to plan and deliver technology projects within the Hong Kong insurance sector. The role focuses on driving delivery using Agile methods, coordinating with technology teams and business stakeholders, and maintaining clear progress updates.

The position is a temporary contract with renewal potential, offering exposure to complex insurance technology programs in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Strong capability in managing technology projects from planning through delivery.
• Practical knowledge of Agile delivery methods and Agile project management.
• Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and maintaining project backlogs.
• Ability to manage project plans, milestones, dependencies and changing priorities.
• Confidence in tracking delivery progress and providing clear project updates.
• Ability to work with technology teams and business stakeholders on project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver technology projects using Agile approaches to meet agreed scope, timelines and priorities.

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including planning sessions, daily check-ins, reviews and retrospectives.
• Maintain and prioritise project backlogs with relevant stakeholders to keep delivery focused on business needs.
• Track project progress, dependencies and delivery risks, then provide clear updates to stakeholders.
• Coordinate technology teams and business contacts to resolve issues and maintain delivery momentum.
• Manage changes to project scope and priorities, ensuring decisions are documented and communicated.
• Support the adoption of practical Agile ways of working across technology project delivery.
