Job summary

A regional IT and engineering solutions provider is looking for a candidate to implement ICT and Multimedia Display Systems in Hong Kong. The role involves coordinating site activities and preparing various construction drawings. Ideal candidates should hold a degree in engineering, have at least 3 years of site construction experience, and be proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in English and Chinese.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience in site construction work.
• Solid experience in BMS and project planning.
• Knowledge of standards for audio visual and IT systems.
• Understanding of AV, ELV and IT wiring regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.
• Experience on medium to large scale projects through at least one lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Implement ICT and Multimedia Display Systems.
• Coordinate on construction drawings and site activities.
• Liaise with architects and contractors.
• Develop method statements and fitting out arrangements.
• Liaise with Architect, ICT, Data Network, Cabling, Consultants and Main Contractor.

Job Description

• Implementation of the ICT and Multimedia Display Systems
• Coordinate with M&E and Builder's works activities on site
• Prepare and coordinate on construction drawings, shop drawings, CSD (Combined Services Drawings) and CBWD (Combined Builder’s Work Drawings)
• Method Statement, fitting out arrangement
• Liaise with Architect, ICT, Data Network, Cabling, Consultants’ representatives and the Main Contractor of Construction Company

Job Requirements

• Degree or Diploma holder in Building Services / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or other related engineering disciplines
• At least 3 years’ site construction work experience
• Solid experience in BMS (Building Management System), project planning and works coordination
• Well understanding on wiring regulations & standards for audio visual, ELV and IT systems
• Good knowledge and proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD
• Experience on medium to large scale project implementation with at least going through one project development life cycle
• Knowledge and experience on Information Technology systems would be an advantage
• Self-initiative, responsible, good interpersonal & communication skills and able to work under pressure
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
