Job summary

METHOD ENGINEERING PRIVATE LIMITED. in Hong Kong seeks a site-focused engineer to coordinate AutoCAD drawings, supervise project teams, and manage costs and materials across multiple projects. You will attend site rounds, meetings, and ensure ISO compliance while maintaining clear liaison with subcontractors.

The role requires a Diploma/ITE in Engineering or at least 3 years of relevant experience, with strong knowledge of M&E and ACMV systems and proficiency in AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Diploma or ITE in Engineering or minimum 3 years of relevant experience if no paper qualifications.
• Must be a team player with initiatives.
• Possess sound knowledge of M&E systems especially for ACMV system.
• Able to interpret Architectural, Structural and M&E drawings.
• Knowledge and use of AutoCAD system.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and produce drawings with AutoCAD.
• Attend site show rounds, provide tender costings and quotations as required.
• Supervise and coordinate team of workers/sub-contractors for smooth operations.
• Attend project, site safety, and coordination meetings as required.
• Control and monitor materials, claims and costs of projects.
• Work independently in day-to-day project operations and tasks.
• Familiarize quickly with all task requirements.
• Maintain harmonious liaison with colleagues and subcontractors for smooth operations.
• Assist with office data updates and records for ISO compliance.
• Report to Project Manager and Management on project matters.
• Carry out any related duties assigned by management.

JOB DESCRIBTION:

To be able to co-ordinate andproduce drawings with autocad system

To attend site showrounds,provide tender costings and quotations as and when required.

To supervise, co-ordinate andassist your team of workers / sub-contractors to ensure smooth operations.

To attend project meetings, sitesafety meetings, co-ordination meetings etc., as and when required by the project/projects.

To control and monitor allmaterials, claims and costs of the project/projects.

To work independently in the dayto day operation of the projects and tasks assigned.

You are required to swiftlyfamiliarize with all requirements of any task assigned.

To have close liaison andharmonious working relationship with all the colleagues and sub-contractors forthe necessary smooth operation of the Company's business.

To assist and co-operate withother staff in office works including updating of data’s and records, drawingsetc. for ISO compliance.

You are to report to the ProjectManager and Management on all the project matters.

To carry out any other relatedduties which may be later assigned to you by the management.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma or ITE in Engineering orminimum 3 years of relevant experience if he does not have the necessary paperqualifications.
