Job summary

Veolia Hong Kong Holding Limited, part of the Veolia Group, is seeking a skilled Finance professional in Quarry Bay to oversee financial control, project costing, and cash flow management. You will ensure HKFRS compliance, support budgeting, and collaborate with auditors and tax advisors across sites.

The role requires 3–5 years of accounting experience in relevant sectors, strong Excel skills, and experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle). Immediate availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Member or final-stage student of a recognised professional accounting body (e.g., HKICPA / ACCA / CPA Australia).
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience in construction, waste management, joint ventures or heavy engineering projects.
• Solid understanding of HKFRS, project costing methods, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle); high Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Financial Control & Reporting: maintain books, prepare month-end closings and variance reports.
• Project Cost Control: monitor expenditures, variations, subcontractor payments, and procurement spend.
• Cash Flow Management: handle treasury, invoicing, and cash forecasts with aging analyses.
• Compliance & Audit: ensure HKFRS compliance; coordinate with auditors and tax advisors.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: assist in annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term modeling.
• Support ad hoc tasks as directed by the Finance Manager.
