Job description

Responsibilities

• Backend systems developer of microservices architecture in telecom industry, including but not limited to 5G and IoT etc.
• Enhance and maintain backend microservices with quality and service improvement
• Conduct research in new technology with PoC (Proof of Concept) and transform into new products
• Collaborate with business and product team to define and implement new requirements to fulfill business needs
• Provide skill transfer to engineering team for user and platform support

Job Requirements

• Degree holder in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related disciplines
• Familiar in microservice architecture’s software design and implementation; experience in deploy, setup, monitoring and scaling microservice solution in both public / private cloud would be an advantage
• Knowledge in CI/CD pipelines & DevOps practice
• Experience in MySql, MongoDB, Redis would be an advantage
• Experience in Golang, Java, C++, C#, Python would be an advantage
• Knowledge in KVM / Linux platform administration and scripting would be an advantage
• Good command in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
