Job summary

Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Asia) Limited (ICBC (Asia)) invites a software developer to join the banking systems team in Hong Kong. You will participate in full SDLC for banking projects, contribute to design, development and deployment of Java-based applications, and collaborate with IT and business units to deliver robust financial solutions.

The role requires hands-on Java, Java EE/Spring, web services and database skills, with strong communication in English and Chinese.

Job Responsibilities

• Participate in the full system implementation life cycle (SDLC) for the banking projects

Job Requirements

• Degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or related disciplines
• 2-4 years relevant working experience in application development
• Experience in JAVA and knowledge in framework(e.g. Java EE,Spring,Spring boot), web-based / API-based / development with web (Restful API, XML, JSON, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript)
• Proficient in Oracle / MySQL database
• Excellent communication, interpersonal & analytical skills
• Experience in banking self service terminal (e.g. ATM, VTM) / FPS will be an advantage.
• Experience in acquiring systems/POS/payment gateway will be an advantage
• Good command of both English and Chinese; Mandarin is an advantage
• Candidate with limited experience may also be considered, provided they demonstrate a strong academic background and proven project achievements.
