Job summary

University of Hong Kong invites a Programme Manager in Aviation, Computing, Technology and Data Science within the College of Life Sciences and Technology to lead programme development, delivery and promotion. The role requires coordinating full-time and part-time offerings and ensuring quality through review and validation processes.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree with at least three years in digital media, engineering, or IT, and can communicate fluently in English and Chinese;

Qualifications

• Master degree and 3 years relevant experience in digital media, engineering or IT.
• Ability to manage resources effectively and communicate well in English and Chinese.
• Experience in programme management and validation is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Teach and develop programmes in IT, digital media and engineering.
• Plan and develop new programmes; monitor and review existing ones.

Programme Manager in Aviation, Computing, Technology and Data Science in in the College of Life Sciences and Technology[RF: 2026/27-FT-051-JDB]

Duties: The scope of duties include teaching full-time and part-time programmes in IT, digital media and engineering; developing and planning new programmes in these areas; monitoring and reviewing existing programmes; and establishing promotional strategies.

Requirements: Candidates should at least possess a Master degree and 3 years relevant experience in the areas of digital media, engineering or IT. They should have capability to manage resources effectively, strong communication and interpersonal skills and excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese are required. Experience in programme management and validation will be a definite advantage.

Terms of Appointment: Salary placement will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The contract will normally be for 2 years with the possibility of renewal subject to review. A contract-end gratuity (taxable) will be payable upon satisfactory completion of the contract. Medical and dental benefits, 18 days' annual leave and the use of library facilities will be provided where applicable. The School also provides staff development opportunities.
