Job summary

HKU SPACE invites a Programme Manager to oversee Aviation, Computing, Technology and Data Science initiatives within the College of Life Sciences and Technology. The role focuses on teaching in IT, digital media and engineering, plus developing new programmes and promotional strategies.

Applicants should hold a Master’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience, and demonstrate strong resource management, communication and bilingual English-Chinese proficiency.

Programme Manager in Aviation, Computing, Technology and Data Science in CLST

Programme Manager in Aviation, Computing, Technology and Data Science in in the College of Life Sciences and Technology

Duties: The scope of duties include teaching full-time and part-time programmes in IT, digital media and engineering; developing and planning new programmes in these areas; monitoring and reviewing existing programmes; and establishing promotional strategies.

Requirements: Candidates should at least possess a Master degree and 3 years relevant experience in the areas of digital media, engineering or IT. They should have capability to manage resources effectively, strong communication and interpersonal skills and excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese are required. Experience in programme management and validation will be a definite advantage.

Terms of Appointment: Salary placement will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The contract will normally be for 2 years with the possibility of renewal subject to review. A contract-end gratuity (taxable) will be payable upon satisfactory completion of the contract. Medical and dental benefits, 18 days' annual leave and the use of library facilities will be provided where applicable. The School also provides staff development opportunities.
