Jane Street in Hong Kong is hiring Production Engineers. Production Engineers are software developers who split time between OCaml software development and providing high-quality support for critical systems used in Jane Street’s trading business.

You’ll work closely with application developers, other production teams, and business units to resolve live issues and implement tooling to improve reliability and performance.

• Strong programming ability with clear code reading/writing
• Curious, collaborative and eager to learn across systems
• Excellent communicator, calm during production incidents
• Fluent in English

Responsibilities

• Split time between OCaml software development and a production-support rotation for live incidents
• Collaborate with diverse dev and business teams across the firm
• Design and develop monitoring and tooling to support trading systems
