Job summary

HSBC Holdings plc in Hong Kong is seeking a Product Specialist to support the Head of Capital Market – Private Client, driving CM business across Equity, Fixed Income, FX and Structured Products for the Private Client segment.

You will collaborate with Private Client RMs, develop scalable sales propositions, deliver product trainings, and help design offerings using data analytics and digital distribution to reach a wide client base.

Qualifications

• Strong sales and marketing skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head of Capital Market – Private Client, HK to drive Capital Markets business in Private Client segment (USD2-10mio AUM) across Equity, Fixed Income, FX and Structured Products.
• Drive revenue and product penetration against targets aligned with Private Client growth strategy.
• Devise scalable business strategy given large client base and small ticket sizes.
• Collaborate with Private Client RMs to craft sales propositions for Private Client segment.
• Conduct ongoing product trainings for Private Client RMs on features and risks.
• Support Private Client RMs on client events and selective meetings.
• Work with Capital Markets product teams to design suitable offerings for Private Client needs.
• Utilize digital distribution and data analytics to achieve scale.

Job description

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Product Specialist.

In this role you will:

• Support the Head of Capital Market – Private Client, Hong Kong to drive Capital Markets business in the Private Client segment (USD2-10mio AUM), covering across Equity, Fixed Income, FX and Structured Products
• Responsible for driving revenue and product penetration vis‑à‑vis targets that are aligned with the growth strategy of the Private Client segment
• Devise business strategy emphasizing on scale effect given the sheer number of client accounts under coverage and the smaller ticket size nature
• Work closely with Private Client RMs to strategize and devise sales propositions fit for purpose of Private Client segment
• Conduct product trainings for Private Client RMs on an on‑going basis to ensure they are well‑versed with both features and risks of the products
• Support Private Client RMs on client events and selectively client meetings
• Work closely with Capital Markets product teams to design product offerings suitable for the need of Private Client segment
• Use extensively digital distribution means and data analytics with the aim of achieving scale effect

To be successful you will need:
