Job summary

Blue Cross in Hong Kong is seeking a seasoned professional to conceive, develop, implement and enhance life, health, and wellness insurance schemes and products. The role collaborates with actuarial, operations, legal, compliance, distribution channels, marketing, finance and IT to deliver innovative products and service to customers while ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Ideal candidates have a degree in related fields and at least 5 years of GI product development experience;

Qualifications

Min. 5 years of relevant experience in insurance product development & implementation of general insurance products.
Holder of IIQAS / ACII / ANZIIF designations or other related professional/insurance status is preferred
Candidates with GI product knowledge in sales, underwriting and operations welcome
Candidates with non-GI product knowledge with product development experience welcome

Responsibilities

Assist department head on the product design of general insurance (medical or non-medical products) to develop and enhance full spectrum of product development
Assist department head and superior to monitor the product development, product implementation and product approval process with divisions like actuarial, operations, legal and compliance
Prepare presentation decks, product specifications, approval documents, launch packs and risk assessments throughout development
Coordinate and monitor delivery of product materials, training tools, and product briefing prior to launch
Assist in preparing recommendations to management by reviewing performance and competitiveness of products
Conduct market research and prepare competitive analysis regularly
