Job summary

Sa Sa Cosmetic Company Limited, a leading cosmetics retailer in the Asia Pacific, is seeking a sourcing professional. You will source and evaluate cosmetics suppliers, negotiate for best cost and quality, and ensure packaging aligns with brand guidelines.

You will monitor regulatory updates and coordinate development timelines with OEM partners. Applicants should have a degree in related disciplines and 2–3 years of purchasing experience in cosmetics.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in related disciplines.
• 2–3 years in purchasing/sourcing, cosmetics/skincare preferred.
• Solid experience with cosmetic suppliers in Asia Pacific.

Responsibilities

• Source, identify and evaluate new cosmetics suppliers in Asia Pacific.
• Negotiate to maximize product gross profit, quality and delivery.
• Ensure packaging adheres to brand and manufacturing guides.
• Monitor MOH status for China market launch timelines.
• Track competitors' product formulations, pricing and launches.
• Maintain supplier relationships and implement improvements.

Job description

We are a listed company and one of the leading cosmetics retailers with business in the Asia Pacific region. To cope with our aggressive growth and expansion plan, we are currently seeking a professional candidate to join our team.

Source skincare/cosmetics formulation and packaging from manufacturers especially in the Asia Pacific

Manageworld aroundcosmetics suppliermatrix, identify, source and evaluate new suppliers

Follow up whole cosmetics/skincareproduct developmentprocess and ensure adherence to approved and favourable cost from negotiating for maximizing product GP, quality and delivery standards

Ensure all product packaging adheres to manufacture and brand style guides

Monitor and work with packaging suppliers on private mold packaging development from the process of concept, engineer drawing, prototype to production mold

Monitor the delivery schedule and ensure conformance with product specificationsfor all OEM orders

Monitor MOH status for China market within targeted launch timeline

Track and analyze direct competitors' product formulation, pricing, packaging, new launch and their product launch strategies

Keep tracking on customers' insight and frontline's product comments for continuous improvement

Requirements

• Degree holder inrelated disciplines
• 2-3 years of work experience in purchasing/sourcing,cosmetics/ skincare products is preferred
• Solid experience in dealing withcosmeticssuppliersespecially in the Asia Pacific
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of the cosmeticsmarket with strong commercial sensewill be a plus
• Agood teamand multi-taskedplayer with a strong drive for result with good interpersonal, problem-solving skills and team spirit
• Proactive, independent and well-organized
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
• Excellent spoken and written English and Chinese, proficiency in Mandarin will be an advantage
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Product Development Officer
