Job summary

A major digital and media solutions provider in Hong Kong is seeking a Product Business Analyst to participate in Web/App development and analyze business processes. Key responsibilities include documenting user requirements, assisting the product manager, and preparing the product backlog. The ideal candidate has a degree in a related field, at least 2 years of relevant experience, and strong communication skills in English and Chinese. Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2 years of Business Analyst experience in Web/App/Multimedia industry.
• Excellent command in verbal and written English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese).
• Ability to capture and verify specifications efficiently.

• Conduct business process review and assist product manager in finalizing the requirement scope
• Analyze and document user requirements and business processes in functional requirement specifications
• Translate business requirement into use cases / user stories
• Manage changes to the requirement scope
• Assist in preparation of the product backlog
• Assist in QA process for acceptance testing and test data preparation

Job Requirements

• Degree in BBA/Computer Science/Engineering, or other relevant disciplines
• Analytical mindset and be able to capture and verify specifications efficiently and effectively
• Minimum of 2 years of Business Analyst experience in Web/App/Multimedia industry
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Excellent command in both verbal and written English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese)
• Required to travel in Asia-Pacific region
• Agile, e.g. Scrum, project experience is an advantage
