Procurement Officer (Developer, residential projects)
Our client is a well-established property developer with a portfolio of luxury residential developments across Hong Kong and APAC. To support its ongoing development, the company is seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to source high-quality building materials, furniture, fixtures and interior products.
About the role
- Source, evaluate, and procure premium building materials, finishes, and bespoke furniture for luxury residential and mixed-use developments
- Manage supplier relationships with high-end material vendors, artisan workshops, and furniture manufacturers across Asia, Europe, and beyond
- Conduct market research and vendor benchmarking to identify best-in-class suppliers for luxury-grade materials and furnishings
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms to ensure cost efficiency without compromising on quality or design intent
- Coordinate closely with design, architecture, and project management teams to align procurement with project specifications and timelines
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes including RFQs, purchase orders, quality inspections, and logistics coordination
- Track budgets, procurement schedules, and supplier performance across multiple concurrent luxury projects
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, sustainability considerations, and company procurement policies
- Support cross-border procurement and shipping logistics for projects in multiple Asian markets
The successful applicants
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Interior Design, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline
- Minimum 3 years of procurement experience in luxury hospitality (5‑star hotels/resorts) or high‑end residential development sectors
- Proven track record sourcing premium building materials, fixtures, fittings, and bespoke/designer furniture
- Strong network of suppliers and vendors in the luxury materials and furniture industry, ideally with regional (Asia) exposure
- Fluency in English and Cantonese/Mandarin
- Willingness to travel occasionally
