Job summary

Haitong International Securities Group Limited in Hong Kong Island is recruiting an Officer / Senior Officer - Client On-boarding, Private Wealth Management to manage client onboarding and new account opening.

You will perform periodic reviews, ensure KYC compliance, coordinate with Front Office to prioritize requests, and liaise with Compliance, Legal and Operations while contributing to regulatory reporting and ad-hoc projects.

Qualifications

3 years’ relevant/related experience in retail/HNW/corporate client on-boarding, KYC or AML.
University graduate in any disciplines.
Demonstrate an interest in the regulatory environment and control processes.
Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, including fluency in Putonghua with an eye for detail.
Good team working and communication & interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Handle client onboarding and new account opening
Perform periodic review/ trigger event
Ensure the quality of KYC documentation complies with internal policies and regulatory requirements
Coordinate with the Front Office to prioritize account requests and keep them appraised of progress
Liaise with other internal stakeholders such as Compliance, Legal and Operations as required
Review and update the relevant policy and procedures to ensure compliance with latest regulatory requirement
Assist to prepare statistical reports
Participate in ad-hoc projects as required
