Job summary

HSBC Holdings plc invites applications for a Credit Advisor within Private Banking in Hong Kong. You will structure credit solutions and support a full suite of products for our high-net-worth clients, working closely with Relationship Managers to tailor financing strategies.

You will analyze credit requests, perform due diligence, underwrite loans, and contribute to risk management and portfolio quality. Fluent English, Mandarin and Cantonese are essential to serve our diverse client base.

Qualifications

• University degree in a relevant discipline.
• Experience in lending or other credit related functions within private banking.
• Knowledge of collateral lending and structured credit transactions for private clients.
• Client facing and relationship management skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

Responsibilities

• Structure credit solutions within private banking and support a full suite of credit products.
• Drive development of credit business by providing expertise to Relationship Managers and clients.
• Develop business plans to meet risk management and portfolio quality goals.
• Engage with Relationship Managers to grow Credit business and new opportunities.
• Perform analysis, due diligence and underwrite credit applications.
• Support Non-Performing Assets management.
