Job summary

The Financial Dispute Resolution Centre (FDRC) invites applications for the role of PR & Event Officer to drive communications strategy and public outreach in Hong Kong. You will plan and execute briefings, seminars, training, and promotional activities for financial institutions, associations and the public, and liaise with stakeholders and government bodies.

Qualifications

• University degree required in communications, PR, business or related field.
• Min 5 years in PR, events or corporate communications with social media/website experience.
• Bilingual English and Chinese (Putonghua + Cantonese) required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement communications plan and strategy.
• Plan, organize and conduct briefings, seminars, training and promotional activities.
• Liaise with stakeholders, government bodies and industry associations.
• Prepare press releases, handle media enquiries and build media relationships.
• Coordinate production of corporate materials and liaise with agencies.
• Conduct research and undertake ad hoc projects as assigned.
• Prepare regular management reports on communications and events.
