Job summary

Nex Playground, based in Hong Kong, is offering a full-time internship in Platform Software Engineering. You will work on a real project that combines games, computer vision, hardware, and cloud services to help families move more and have fun together.

You'll contribute to PlayOS, Play Services, or the cloud platform, with mentorship and engineers guiding you from design to launch. This is a hands-on role with tangible impact.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong programming fundamentals, problem-solving skills, and a learning mindset.
• Experience with at least one language or runtime such as Kotlin/Java, C/C++, Go, Python, TypeScript/Node.js.
• Clear communication, collaboration, and care for software quality.

Responsibilities

• Help build the technology behind Nex Playground—where games, computer vision, consumer hardware, and cloud services come together to get families moving.
• Own a meaningful project from design through launch with a dedicated mentor.
• Ship software with visible impact across device, cloud, and services.
