Job summary

Nex Playground in Hong Kong is seeking a Software Engineer intern (Developer Experience) to build tools and libraries for game development on Nex Playground. You will collaborate with game engineers to push boundaries and unlock new possibilities.

You are currently enrolled in a degree program with a solid foundation in software development and strong communication skills. Experience with Unity, Android, or webapp stacks is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
• Solid foundation in software development.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ready to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Nice to have: Unity, Android, webapp development (ReactJS/NodeJS/Python, GCP).

Responsibilities

• Build tools to streamline game development, from brainstorming to deployment.
• Collaborate with game engineers to push boundaries on Nex Playground.
• Work with producers to ensure smooth delivery of games and contents.
• Explore new technologies and refine processes to improve developer experience.
