Job summary

The PURE Group in Hong Kong is seeking a qualified Reformer Pilates Teacher to join our dynamic team. You will deliver safe, high-quality Reformer classes, maintain punctuality, and contribute to community events and trainings.

Applicants should hold a worldwide certified reformer Pilates credential (Stott, Polestar, Contrology preferred) and have three years of teaching experience; passion for ongoing learning and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Certified Reformer Pilates teacher from a world-recognized school (Stott/Polestar/Contrology preferred).
• Three years teaching experience is preferred; less than three years will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Teach high quality Reformer Pilates classes that are safe, inspiring and encouraging.
• Teach the assigned classes and keep subbing to a minimum.
• Be punctual for all classes.
• Attend required meetings and trainings.
• Maintain open communication with Managing Teacher and colleagues.
• Demonstrate professional conduct and high teaching standards.
• Mentor new teachers and provide constructive feedback.
• Support the PURE community and brand.

Responsibilities

• Teach high quality Reformer Pilates classes that are safe, inspiring and encouraging.
• Teach the assigned classes and keep any subbing to a minimum.
• Be punctual for all classes.
• Attend the required meetings, as well as the internal trainings and community events.
• Keep open, transparent and timely communication with the Managing Teacher and fellow Pilates teachers.
• Conduct her/himself in an appropriate manner, offer the highest standards of teaching and keep appropriate relationships with students.
• Mentor new teachers and give constructive feedback, when appropriate.
• Support the PURE community and its reputable brand.
• Comply with PURE Pilates and PURE International general policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Certified Reformer Pilates Teacher from a worldwide recognized Pilates school. Stott, Polestar, and Contrology are highly preferred.
• Three years or longer teaching experience is preferred.
• Less than three years teaching experience will be considered.
• Consistent personal Pilates, Yoga and/or fitness practice is a must.
• Initiative to keep studying and growing as a teacher and as an individual.
• Open minded, grounded and responsible character.
• Ability to work well in a team and support the collective development of the teaching community and the company.
• Experience with teaching Pilates events is preferred.
• Experience with private Pilates is preferred.
