Job summary

Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong is seeking a qualified Physiotherapist to assess patients and plan treatment, administer interventions, and educate patients and families. You will coordinate discharge planning and collaborate with other rehab disciplines.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy, valid HK registration, hospital experience, and bilingual English/Chinese communication. Shift work is required; benefits include enhanced leave and provident fund scheme.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy is required.
• Holder of Certificate of Registration Part 1a / Part 1b with valid practising certificate issued by the Physiotherapists Board of Hong Kong.
• At least 2 years’ working experience preferable in hospital setting.
• Strong clinical reasoning skills and ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient as a basis for planning and implementing an appropriate treatment plan.
• Administer therapeutic interventions to alleviate impairment of functional limitations and to maximize recovery.
• Provide patient and family education.
• Initiate and implement patient discharge planning.
• Initiate and recommend other rehab disciplines when appropriate.
