Job summary

IQ-EQ Hong Kong is seeking a qualified Senior Accountant to support designated Private Equity clients. You will review financial statements, capital calls, and distributions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness while maintaining strong client relationships.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA or equivalent, 3–4 years of accounting experience, and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables). Knowledge of private equity terms is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
CPA or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
3–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
Strong client relationship management and timely deliverables.
Intermediate Excel skills, Pivot Tables and data analysis.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary contact for designated Private Equity clients via phone and email.
Coordinate with internal support teams to ensure on-time client deliverables.
Review financial statements, disclosures, capital calls and distributions for accuracy.
Liaise with external auditors and support interim/year-end audits.
Build and maintain relationships through an understanding of governing documents.
