Job summary

RSM HK Advisory Ltd. in Hong Kong seeks an Assistant Manager, Payroll and Accounting to lead a team delivering outsourced accounting services across industries. You will ensure HK regulatory compliance, HKFRS and tax rules.

You're expected to manage engagements, oversee staff, develop client relationships, and drive process improvements in payroll processing, financial reporting and accounting operations while liaising with regulators and banks.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance or related field; HKICPA/ACCA preferred.
• 8–10 years of outsourced payroll/accounting experience, preferably in professional services.
• Strong knowledge of HKFRS and IFRS.
• Proven experience leading teams and managing client portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of accounting professionals delivering outsourced services.
• Ensure compliance with HK regulations, HKFRS, and tax requirements.
• Oversee engagement planning, scheduling, coaching, and progress monitoring to meet deadlines.
• Liaise with banks, regulators, and third-party partners; manage accounts receivable and credit control.
