Job summary

OSL is seeking an experienced Payment Compliance Lead to build and lead a global compliance framework for our stablecoin payments business. You will oversee regulatory alignment across markets and collaborate with Legal, Risk, Product, Engineering, Operations and Sales to implement practical controls.

You will drive AML/CFT, sanctions, KYB/KYC and transaction monitoring, including on-chain compliance, as the business grows across borders.

Qualifications

• Experience in cross-border payments, fintech, banking, PayTech or digital assets.
• Strong knowledge of AML/CFT, sanctions, transaction monitoring, KYB/KYC and payment compliance.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Payment Compliance Lead to build and lead the compliance framework for our global stablecoin payments business.

This role will oversee compliance across our cross-border B2B payment activities, ensuring that products, customers, and transactions meet regulatory and AML/CFT requirements. You will work closely with Compliance, Risk, Product, Engineering, Operations, and Sales to develop practical controls, policies, and processes that support business growth while maintaining strong compliance standards.

The ideal candidate has experience in cross-border payments, fintech, banking, PayTech, or digital assets, with strong knowledge of AML/CFT, sanctions, transaction monitoring, KYB/KYC, and payment compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Payment Compliance Framework

• Build and maintain the compliance framework for our global stablecoin payments business
• Develop and maintain policies, SOPs, controls, and governance covering AML/CFT, sanctions, KYB/KYC, and transaction monitoring
• Translate regulatory requirements into practical, risk-based processes across different markets
• Continuously assess and enhance the framework as our products and payment corridors expand

Transaction & On-Chain Compliance

• Oversee compliance controls across the customer and payment lifecycle
• Develop risk-based transaction monitoring and escalation processes for cross-border B2B payments
• Establish appropriate controls for complex or high-risk payment flows, including third-party payments and self-hosted wallets
• Oversee on-chain compliance controls, including KYT, wallet screening, and source-of-funds assessment
• Monitor emerging crypto and financial crime risks and update controls accordingly

Regulatory & Business Support

• Monitor regulatory developments across key markets and assess their impact on the business
• Support new product, payment corridor, and market launches from a compliance perspective
• Work with Legal and local Compliance teams to ensure alignment with local requirements
• Act as a compliance advisor to Sales, Operations, Product, Risk, and other business teams

Product & Process

• Partner with Product and Engineering to embed compliance controls into payment workflows and systems
• Identify opportunities to automate compliance processes and improve operational efficiency
• Ensure compliance controls remain effective as transaction volumes and business complexity scale
• Build and lead the Payment Compliance team as the business grows
• Establish clear processes, standards, and escalation frameworks
• Drive continuous improvement in compliance effectiveness and operational efficiency
• Take ownership of complex compliance matters and provide hands-on guidance to the team
