Rice X Limited is seeking a university student to deliver engaging STEM and coding lessons for children aged 6-14 at various centres in Hong Kong. You will teach block-based programming and basic electronics using Arduino, and guide students through hands-on robotics projects.
Travel to Wong Chuk Hang, Lai Chi Kok, or Sha Tin centers is possible; experience with VEX/LEGO is a plus. Prior teaching experience is a strong plus, and you may be considered for an assistant role if you have less
Deliver engaging STEM, coding, and basic robotics lessons to children aged 6-14. Teach block-based programming and basic electronics using Arduino platforms. Guide students through the hands-on building and troubleshooting of basic robots. More experience candidates can teach the AI course which requires fundamentals of Machine Learning, NLP, Object detection and Python code for the Vex AIM robot. (Up to 400 HKD per lesson)
Candidates with experience in robotics platforms such as Vex IQ/Lego will be highly considered.
Candidates with less experience can be considered for Teaching Assistant.

Manage small/medium classes of students to ensure a focused learning environment
Guide students through the hands-on building and troubleshooting of basic robots
About you
Current university student (STEM or Teaching-related majors preferred)
Good English, and Fluent/Good Cantonese, Mandarin(would be beneficial,but not required)
Able to travel and teach for schools or Wong Chuk Hang/Lai Chi Kok/Shatin Centres (locations flexible)
Comfortable with work assignments fitted around your University/College Schedule
Knowledge of VEX Go/IQ/AIM beneficial (but not required) (Training will be provided)
Prior teaching experience is a huge plus, able to manage classroom students is essential
