Job summary

CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY COUNCIL - HONG KONG INSTITUTE OF CONSTRUCTION is seeking a part-time Lecturer in Safety and Health / Environmental. The role includes delivering courses, organising course activities, and preparing training materials to align with industry needs and HKQF standards.

The ideal candidate has a recognised degree in construction-related fields, senior professional membership (preferred), and extensive post-qualification experience with teaching capabilities.

Qualifications

• recognised degree or above in construction-related fields
• corporate membership of an appropriate professional institution preferred
• 7+ years post-qualification experience in building/civil/quantity surveying with training experience
• knowledge of HKQF, course articulation, and CIC CAT or related tools would be advantageous
• strong communication, teaching/presentation and stakeholder networking skills
• good command of written and spoken English and Chinese

Responsibilities

• conduct teaching in relevant CIC programmes
• organise course activities: assignments, assessments, site visits
• prepare/supplement training materials to meet industry training requirements
• perform other duties as assigned by Executive Director
