Job summary

You will contribute to course development, teaching, and assessment design.

Qualifications

• A recognised degree or professional designation.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Fluent in English and Chinese with strong teaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop quality support service for assigned projects and coordinate delivery.
• Develop learning/teaching materials and capable of delivering programmes.
• Propose teaching plans and provide recommendations or insights.
• Deliver programmes and manage class discipline and attendance.
• Develop assessments and marking schemes; assist with academic and admin duties.

Institute of Professional Education And Knowledge (PEAK) is one of the member institutions of the Vocational Training Council responsible for the provision of in-service training and professional examination services. More than 200 major companies have utilised its corporate training services.

Subject Areas

• (i) Project development and coordination / course delivery for Postgraduate / Professional Diploma / Certificate programme for the fields of Insurance and Risk Management / Business Management (particularly for topics of Compliance & Corporate Governance, Financial Planning, Property Insurance, Digital Technologies, Artificial Intelligence etc.)
• (ii) Various topics of Investment, Financial Planning, Greater Bay Area and China related courses, Compliance, Accounting & Finance etc. for CPD or In-company related training courses

Major Duties

• (a) To develop quality support service for assigned project development, coordination and to carry out any other duties as assigned
• (b) To develop learning / teaching materials
• (c) To propose teaching plan, etc. and to provide relevant recommendations or suggestions
• (d) To deliver the programmes and carry out relevant tasks, such as managing class discipline and taking student attendance and
• (e) To develop and prepare assessments and marking scheme and to carry out academic and administrative duties, including attending review meetings, etc.

Requirements

• (a) A relevant recognised degree or FCII, or ANZIIF (Fellowship), or CFA, FRM or CFP designation or equivalent (and at least a master degree for teaching post-graduate programme, preferably with doctorate qualification with experience in dissertation supervision),
• (b) At least 3 years relevant work experience, with training experience an added advantage and
• (c) Good communication, teaching and facilitation skills in both English and Chinese.
