Job summary

Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a collateral management professional to implement treasury collateral infrastructure and daily processes. The role requires understanding key legal agreements and regulatory rules, and providing ongoing market knowledge to support business development.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree, at least three years in banking or related IT/Collateral roles, and strong English/Chinese communication skills; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or above.
• At least 3 years' related experience in banking or related industries.
• Experience in OTC derivatives clearing, collateral management, custody, or related IT functions.
• Detail-oriented, able to work under pressure, mature with minimum supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; good team player.
• Excellent command of English and Chinese; Mandarin is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Implement collateral management infrastructure and daily framework.
• Understand ISDA, VMCSA, IMCTA, GMRA, GMSLA clauses.
• Keep up-to-date on collateral management market knowledge in OTC derivatives, repo, securities lending.
• Support business development from collateral management perspective.
• Implement relevant regulatory requirements (Margin Rules, CC Risk Mitigation).
• Initiate collateral management system projects; gather user requirements and test launches.
• Generate daily portfolio reconciliation reports and monitor collateral concentration risk.
• Collect and analyze collateral data; report daily activities.
