Job summary

Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong is seeking an Analytics Engineer on a 1-year contract to build and maintain end-to-end analytics pipelines, from source systems to dashboards. You will develop ETL/ELT processes, ensure data quality, and collaborate with stakeholders to improve governance and reporting operations.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3+ years of data analytics/BI experience, with strong SQL and Power BI DAX skills and hands-on dashboard development using BI

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in data analytics, BI, analytics engineering, or a similar role.
• Experience developing data pipelines and ETL/ELT using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Fabric, Databricks, and SQL.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, with solid experience using Power BI DAX.
• Hands-on experience designing and maintaining dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain end-to-end analytics data pipelines from source to dashboards.
• Develop ETL/ELT processes to prepare data for analytics and reporting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve data governance and analytics delivery.
• Design and maintain data storage structures optimized for reporting performance.
• Create data transformations and logic to ensure data accuracy and readiness for analysis.
• Validate data quality and maintain clear definitions of metrics and KPIs.
• Translate business requirements into practical data solutions and dashboards.
• Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports to support operations and management.
• Apply data visualization best practices for clear, consistent insights.
• Document data models, transformation logic, and reporting definitions for transparency.
