Job summary

Michael Page International (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a seasoned Data Analytics Engineer to strengthen the Data Warehouse team and lead enterprise-scale analytics initiatives in Hong Kong. You will partner with business users, architects, and developers to deliver scalable analytics solutions and robust data pipelines.

The role requires 5+ years IT experience in data warehouse/BI projects, strong SQL and ETL skills, and fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin).

Qualifications

• 5+ years IT experience in data warehouse/BI or data migration.
• 3+ years hands-on Oracle or SQL Server development.
• Strong SQL, Stored Procedures, DDL and DML skills.
• Experience with Power BI, SSAS and dimensional modelling.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into scalable analytics solutions with business users and stakeholders.
• Design, develop and optimise ETL data pipelines, data models and integration frameworks.
• Support data warehouse architecture improvements and governance.
• Conduct data quality assessments and reconciliation controls.
• Troubleshoot data discrepancies across upstream and downstream systems.
• Gather, analyse and validate business requirements through workshops.
• Prepare technical documentation for functional and non-functional requirements.
• Evaluate new data sources and assess integration impact.
• Develop dimensional models using Star Schema and Snowflake Schema designs.
• Ensure scalability, maintainability and security of enterprise data platforms.
• Support Power BI and SSAS environments including deployment and performance tuning.
