Sia Partners Hong Kong is recruiting an Analytics Engineer Consultant to join our data-driven consulting practice. You will turn raw data into actionable data products and analyses with clear business impact across client projects.

Working at the intersection of data analysis and data engineering, you will design models, build scalable ETL pipelines, enforce governance, and support business users while contributing to internal R&D and thought leadership in AI and analytics.

Qualifications

• Master’s level degree in data science, engineering, or related field with 1–3 years’ experience in data roles.
• Fluency in English; business proficiency in Chinese advantageous.
• Advanced SQL and data transformation tools.
• Experience with at least one Cloud environment (AWS, GCP or Azure).
• Strong command of dimensional modelling and schema design.
• Versioning (Git), CI/CD, analytics testing.

Responsabilités

• Gather and understand business needs and propose suitable technical solutions (analytics tools, data models, workflow automation, dashboards).
• Design robust and scalable data models.
• Build and optimise ETL/ELT pipelines to strengthen reliability and automate flows between sources and analytics platforms.
• Industrialise data products (dashboards, APIs, exports, analytical models).
• Put data governance in place (quality, traceability, monitoring).
• Train and support users in using the tools and assets developed.
• Take part in every stage of the project, from diagnosis through to production rollout and change management.
• Building pipelines for predictive maintenance.
• Creating models to feed BI applications (Power BI, Tableau).
• Develop or strengthen the firm’s expertise through training, working groups, and R&D.
