Job summary

Bank of China (Hong Kong) seeks a Settlement Operations professional to manage day-to-day settlement and back-office support across derivatives, fixed income, FX, money market, and related products. You will participate in new product or system upgrade projects and assist in UAT as required.

The role requires evening shift work (4:00pm–12:00am), and proficiency in English and Chinese. Candidates should be capable of working under pressure with accuracy and reliability.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in processing settlement and back office operations in derivatives, fixed income, FX, money market or investment operations.
• Able to work under pressure with high accuracy.
• Willing to work shifts/overtime; evening shift from 4:00pm to 12:00am.
• Strong command of English and Chinese (Putonghua).

Job description

• Handle day-to-day settlement and operational support in one or more of the following areas: Derivatives including Swaps, OTC Options, Structured products, FX, Money Market, and Bonds etc.
• Participate in new product or system upgrade projects, including assist in UAT as required.
  

Requirements:

• 1 year experience in processing settlement and back office operations in one or more of the following fields: Derivatives, Fixed income, FX, Money Market, Investment Operation etc.
• Efficient and accurate processing of operational functions with strong sense of accuracy
• Able to work under pressure and willing to work shift or overtime
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua
• Proficient in English and Chinese word processing and computer applications (Lotus Notes, MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Evening shift is required (from 4:00pm to 12:00am)
