Job summary

Michael Page International (HK) Ltd in Hong Kong is seeking an Onboarding Specialist / Assistant to support the onboarding process for private wealth management clients within the Banking & Financial Services department. You will work with multiple teams to review documents and ensure smooth account openings.

Ideal candidates have a university degree, 1–3 years in banking or operations, Chinese and English proficiency, and strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent education.
• 1–3 years of experience in banking/financial services.
• Proficiency in Chinese and English (reading and writing).

Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing and organizing account opening documentation submitted.
• Support basic document checks to identify missing information or inconsistencies and follow up with relevant parties as instructed.
• Perform accurate data entry of client information into internal onboarding systems and workflows.
• Assist in filing and maintaining account documentation in accordance with internal record-keeping standards.
• Help track outstanding documentation and support follow-up prior to required deadlines.
• Support post-account opening administrative follow-ups and expiry monitoring.
• Provide general onboarding administrative support, including document scanning, data checking, form updates, system maintenance, and basic reporting.

Profile

• University degree or equivalent education and/or relevant work experience
• 1-3 years of experience in banking, financial services, or operations support
• Experience in prior exposure to KYC or SOW is an advantage
• Ability to work in Chinese and English (reading and communication)
• Good communication skills and ability to work with multiple teams
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience may also be considered
