Job summary

Leighton Asia is seeking a Security Manager to lead on-site security at the main site and satellite areas in Hong Kong. You will develop and implement security plans, supervise personnel, and coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services to ensure rapid response and compliance.

You will review subcontractor performance, monitor security systems, and investigate incidents to drive continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Security Management or a related discipline.
• 5 years of on-site security management experience, preferably in construction.
• Strong understanding of security protocols, risk assessment and emergency response.
• Knowledge of Hong Kong security and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with diverse teams.
• Experience in construction industry preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in written and spoken Chinese and English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies for managing security at main site and satellite areas.
• Develop and implement comprehensive security plans and procedures for the project
• Manage and supervise security personnel, ensuring effective performance and adherence to protocols
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services to maintain security and emergency response plans
• Monitor and review security subcontractors' performance
• Monitor security systems and technology, ensuring they are functional and effective
• Investigate security incidents and prepare reports with recommendations
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and security regulations
• Liaise with project management and stakeholders to address security concerns
• Conduct regular security audits to ensure compliance with company requirements
