Job summary

Leighton Contractors (Asia) Ltd seeks an experienced on-site Security Manager to lead security operations for main site and satellite areas in Hong Kong. You will design security plans, supervise personnel, and coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services to ensure rapid, compliant response.

Responsibilities include monitoring systems, auditing subcontractor performance, and maintaining adherence to health, safety and security regulations across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Security Management or related discipline required.
• 5 years of on-site security management experience in construction preferred.
• Strong understanding of security protocols, risk assessment and emergency response.
• Knowledge of relevant laws/regulations in Hong Kong pertaining to security and safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies for managing security at main site and satellite areas.
• Develop and implement comprehensive security plans and procedures for the project.
• Manage and supervise security personnel, ensuring performance and adherence to protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services for security and response plans.
• Monitor security subcontractors' performance and ensure obligations are met.
• Monitor security systems and technology for functionality and effectiveness.
• Investigate security incidents and prepare improvement reports.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations.
• Liaise with project management to address security concerns and provide updates.
• Conduct regular security audits to ensure company requirements
