Manulife is seeking an analyst to support sales campaigns and propositions. You will conduct market intelligence, perform data analysis, and prepare insights to drive decisions. The role emphasizes AI-enabled tools, data visualization, and collaboration with internal teams.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in insurance, experience in product development, and strong communication in English and Chinese. The role is hybrid in Hong Kong with a focus on delivering actionable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• University degree in any discipline; Marketing, Finance, Insurance, Statistics or Data Analytics preferred.
• 1–2 years in insurance, with at least 1 year in product development; internships considered.
• Knowledge of life insurance products; exposure to campaign and proposition dev is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to derive actionable insights from data.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled productivity and analytics tools and willingness to apply them.

Position Responsibilities:

• Support the planning, implementation, and post-launch monitoring of sales campaigns and customer proposition initiatives.
• Conduct market intelligence, competitor benchmarking, and industry research to identify market trends, business opportunities, and areas for proposition enhancement.
• Perform data analysis and prepare regular campaign performance tracking, business insights, and recommendations to support decision-making.
• Leverage data visualization, automation tools, and AI-enabled solutions to improve efficiency, campaign monitoring, and operational effectiveness.
• Prepare and review campaign-related materials, sales support materials, operational guidelines, communication decks, and briefing documents.
• Review user requirement and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely fulfillment for sales campaigns.
• Respond to enquiries from distribution channels and internal stakeholders regarding campaign mechanics, operational processes, and proposition-related matters.
• May participate in the development and enhancement of insurance products and propositions as required.
• Assist in ad hoc projects and other business initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• University degree in any discipline. Marketing, Finance, Insurance, Statistics, Data Analytics related would be preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in insurance industry preferably with at least 1 years of experience in product development. Fresh graduates with internship experience in product development will also be considered.
• Knowledge of various types of life insurance products. Exposure in campaign and proposition development is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and generate actionable business insights is preferred.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled productivity and analytics tools, such as Microsoft Copilot or other emerging technologies, and a willingness to apply them to enhance business effectiveness.
• Team player, passionate, mature and independent in driving and handling counterparts.Demonstrates curiosity, continuous learning mindset, and strong interest in leveraging technology to drive business results.
• Strong communication, presentation and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to leverage key relationships and build networks to work effectively and deliver results.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of data visualization or reporting tools is an advantage.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Maintains commitment to goals, measures own work to track progress, while identifying and resolving challenges.
