Job summary

Swire Properties Limited 太古地產有限公司 is seeking a commercially minded professional to join our New Ventures team in Hong Kong, identifying emerging technologies, market trends, and startup opportunities across our portfolio, including construction, retail, office, hotels and residential.

You will conduct market research, support technology adoption, develop communications and events, and help monitor venture investments while collaborating with stakeholders.

Qualifications

Join our New Ventures team and help shape the future of real estate through innovation. In this role, you will identify emerging technologies, market trends, and startup opportunities that can drive business growth across our diverse portfolio, including construction, retail, office, hotels, and residential. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will conduct market and competitor research, support the adoption of new technologies across business units, develop engaging communications and events to showcase innovation initiatives, and help monitor the performance of venture investments. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded and tech-curious individual to gain exposure to strategic innovation, venture investments, and transformational projects that create lasting business impact.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct in-depth research on emerging technologies, real estate tech trends, and startup ecosystems to solve critical business problems and to create new business opportunities across all business units (e.g. construction, retail, office, hotels, residential)

Collaborate with the team to analyze market data, industry reports, and competitor analysis to stay up to date with the latest tech developments.

Assist the team on implementation of new technology adoption across different BU.

Assist the team on internal and external stakeholders engagement and communications.

Prepare team communications such as newsletters, reports, presentations, and events to keep colleagues and industry partners updated about New Ventures’ projects and investments.

Assist the team to track performance of venture investments.

REQUIREMENTS

Degree holder with 1-2 years’ experience in research or communications; fresh graduates with strong drive will also be considered

Strong interest in technology, startups and real estate

Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to gather and synthesize information from multiple sources

Proactive, team player and with strong interpersonal & communication skills

Detail-oriented and self-motivated

Excellent command in spoken and written English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Mandarin

Good PC skills on MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
