Michael Page in Hong Kong is seeking an investment professional to join a wealth management and investment advisory platform, focusing on cross-asset research and client-focused insights. You will conduct research across equities, fixed income and funds, monitor markets, and prepare market commentaries for internal stakeholders and clients.

The role supports asset allocation discussions and translates research into actionable client ideas.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Finance, Economics, Investment Management or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in investment research, fund research, asset allocation, investment advisory or portfolio/product analysis.
• Good understanding of multiple asset classes and global financial markets.
• CFA qualification or progress towards CFA would be an advantage.
• Strong written and spoken English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Conduct multi-asset investment research across equities, fixed income, funds and other asset classes.
• Monitor global financial markets, macroeconomic developments and investment themes to identify opportunities and risks.
• Prepare regular investment research reports, market commentaries and publications for internal stakeholders and clients.
• Review and evaluate public funds and investment products, including performance, positioning, strategy and suitability within different market environments.
• Support asset allocation and investment strategy discussions by providing research, market insights and product recommendations.
• Work closely with investment advisory, product and frontline teams to translate investment views into practical client ideas and solutions.
• Conduct ongoing monitoring and review of selected funds/products and provide timely updates when market conditions or underlying strategies change.Contribute to investment-related presentations and materials for internal and external audiences.
