Job summary

Conrad Hong Kong is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to drive M.I.C.E. revenue for the hotel.

You will manage group, events and catering sales, respond to inquiries, prepare proposals, and conduct site inspections to win corporate and association business. The ideal candidate holds a degree in hospitality, has at least 3 years experience in event and catering sales, and demonstrates strong English and Chinese communication, leadership, and market intelligence.

Qualifications

• Degree / Diploma in Hospitality Management or relevant discipline
• Minimum 3years’ experience in handling event and catering of all kinds, including conversion and logistics
• Good knowledge of market trend research and market intelligence
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• A team player with leadership skills
• Good proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)

Responsibilities

• Ensure team meets brand’s target customer needs, focuses on growing M.I.C.E. revenues and maximizes financial performance of the department
• Identify new business opportunities and enhance sales on groups, events and catering to achieve company’s goals
• Maximize groups, events and catering sales of the hotel by strategic planning, implementing and monitoring all sales activities as assigned
• Respond to enquiries, work on proposals, presentation and conduct site inspection to clients in a timely and professional manner
• Conduct market research on competitors’ analysis and market trend
