Job summary

CCB International (Holdings) Limited is seeking an experienced M&A banker in Hong Kong to nurture client relationships across state-owned and private enterprises and institutional investors. You will conduct market research, coordinate with coverage bankers to market and pitch opportunities, and identify potential clients through industry events.

The role requires 10+ years in M&A advisory, deep knowledge of cross-border regulations, and strong communication and project management skills to lead

Qualifications

• More than 10 years M&A financial advisory experience from leading investment banks.
• Familiar with the Takeovers Code and Listing Rules; cross-border transactions.
• Able to manage clients independently with strong communication and presentation skills.
• Strong project management and multi-project handling ability.

Responsibilities

• Nurture and develop client relationships across state-owned enterprises, leading private enterprises, and institutional investors.
• Research M&A market and industry trends to screen clients and coordinate with coverage bankers to market and pitch.
• Identify potential clients through industry conferences and networks.
• Prepare pitching materials, proposals, and participate in execution including due diligence, valuation, negotiation, documentation, and regulatory approvals.

• Nurture and develop client relationship, including state-owned enterprises, leading private enterprises, and institutional investors
• Conduct research on the M&A market and industry trends, to screen potential clients and coordinate with other coverage bankers to market/ promote and pitch for potential M&A/ financial advisory opportunities
• Through diversified channels such as industry summits, investor conferences, professional parties networks to identify potential clients
• Prepare pitching materials, transaction proposals, and participate in the execution including due diligence, valuation analysis, transaction negotiation/ documentation, and regulatory approval process

Requirements

• More than 10 years M&A financial advisory experiences from leading investment banks
• Familiar with the Takeovers Code and Listing Rules, and experiences in cross-border transactions
• Able to deal with clients independently, excellent market acumen, outstanding written/ verbal communication and presentation skills
• Strong project management skills, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
