Job summary

Job-Hunter Employment Agency is seeking a Project Engineer (Small Electrical Appliance) for a leading group developing small electrical products and home appliances for worldwide markets. You will liaise with customers and factories to define specifications and drive development from concept to production.

The ideal candidate has a Higher Diploma or above in Mechanical, Electronic, or Industrial Engineering, with 4+ years in manufacturing, strong costing and quotation follow-up, and solid

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or above in Mechanical, Electronic, or Industrial Engineering.
• At least 4 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Experience in small electrical products or home appliances is highly preferred.
• Solid experience in product development, costing and quotation follow up.
• Good command of English; Mandarin is a plus.
• Immediate availability would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with customers and factories on order specification and requirements.
• Conduct analysis on costing, design modification and product quotation.
• Follow up the projects from new product development to bulk production.
• Maintain good relationship with customers and suppliers on development process.
• Keep track of the production status with factories to meet customers’ requirements.
• Travel to China for factories visit and perform ad hoc projects/duties as assigned.

Requirements

Higher Diploma or above in Mechanical / Electronic or Industrial Engineering

4 years or above relevant working experience with manufacturing background

Experience in small electrical products or home appliance is highly preferred

Solid experience in product development, costing and quotation follow up

Result-driven, energetic, self-initiative, dynamics with good interpersonal skills

Dynamics, detail-oriented, prioritize, team player and sense of responsibilities

Conversant with computer skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Chinese WP

Good command of both spoken and written English, Mandarin is a plus

Immediate available would be an advantage
