Job summary

WHITS TECHNOLOGIES seeks a detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, and improve semiconductor machinery from concept through final assembly and delivery.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years' hands-on experience in automation machine design, expertise in SolidWorks and 3D CAD, and the ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings. You’ll work independently or as part of a team and may support night shifts when required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in automation machine design.
• Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD software; strong capability in reading and interpreting mechanical engineering drawings.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, resourceful, and effective working both independently and in a team environment.
• Willingness to support night shifts or extended hours when required by project demands.

Responsibilities

• Design & Development: Develop detailed 3D models, assembly drawings, and design concepts in SolidWorks according to customer requirements and technical specifications.
• RFQ & Technical Proposals: Prepare design concepts and compile vendor/supplier quotations during RFQ stage; review and confirm technical specs with clients.
• Documentation: Prepare BOMs, WI, and maintain project documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
• Project Execution: Coordinate project activities to ensure tasks are completed within schedule and budget.
• Product Support: Assist in development, testing, and improvement of semiconductor machinery and precision components.
