Job summary

Leadingnation in Hong Kong is seeking a commercially driven Meat Expert to lead the Meat category end-to-end, balancing selling with smart buying and securing reliable supply. You will manage pricing, procurement, forecasting and inventory while guiding a small team and building strong relationships with hotels, restaurants, and other key customers. This role reports to the General Manager and offers a 5-day week, competitive bonus, and medical cover.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in meat import, distribution, trading or category management.
• Proven track record of growing commercial performance in meat.
• Knowledge of meat products, suppliers, sourcing markets, and industry workings.
• Hands-on experience in sales, key account management, pricing, procurement, forecasting, and inventory control.
• Excellent supplier negotiation and commercial management skills.
• Solid network in Hong Kong's foodservice sector is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Run and grow the Meat category as a business on both buy and sell sides, hitting sales, margin and profit targets while securing supply and competitive costs.
• Lead a small team and be the go-to Meat expert for customers, suppliers and colleagues.
