Job summary

Acts Consulting Co. 毅知顧問公司 is seeking an experienced Managing Director to establish and lead a fund and wealth management business in Hong Kong.

You will set strategic investment analyses, source and execute takeovers and mergers, and manage the full investment process to drive strong returns. Candidates should have over 10 years in fund setup and management, with at least 5 years at director level, and a proven track record in private equity or fund raising.

Qualifications

• More than 10 years fund setup and management experience, with the last 5+ years at Director level.
• SFC RO 4 and 9 is preferred but not required.
• Experience in private equity, equity fund or bond fund raising, plus track record in financing, takeovers and mergers of investments.
• Strong client network or business development capabilities; exposure to External Asset Manager (EAM) a plus.
• Outstanding leadership with vision and investment/management power.

Responsibilities

• In charge of fund and wealth management business, setting strategic investment analysis and executing takeovers/mergers with strong returns.
• Organise information gathering, analysis and expansion of the investment project base.
• Handle deal design, origination, industry research, project assessment, execution and investment management.
• Set up funds and build return records for clients’ investments.
• Build and grow the client base and lead the sales team to provide wealth management services and achieve targets.
• Formulate business direction and strategy aligned with market conditions.
