ASL BULK SHIPPING LIMITED is seeking a Junior Account Clerk to join our Finance team in Admiralty, Hong Kong. This full-time role supports daily accounting, processes transactions, and maintains records in line with our procedures and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate has secondary education with accounting or business knowledge, is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin, and has basic bookkeeping skills. Experience with accounting software is a plus.

Formación

• Completion of secondary education or equivalent qualification, with accounting or business studies advantageous.
• Fluent in Cantonese; Mandarin is a must.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
• Strong numerical and attention to detail skills with the ability to identify discrepancies.
• Good organisational and time management abilities with the capacity to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines.
• A keen interest in developing a career in accounting and finance.
• Professional attitude with a commitment to confidentiality and compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Processing and recording financial transactions accurately in accordance with company accounting policies and procedures
• Maintaining and reconciling accounts, including supplier accounts, customer accounts and general ledger entries
• Preparing invoices, purchase orders and other accounting documentation as required
• Assisting with the month-end and year-end closing procedures and reconciliation processes
• Filing and organising financial documents and maintaining comprehensive records
• Supporting the preparation of financial reports and statements under supervision
• Communicating with internal departments and external parties to resolve accounting queries and discrepancies
• Assisting with data entry and maintaining the accuracy of the accounting system
• Contributing to continuous improvement of accounting processes and procedures
