Job summary

WeLab in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Wealth Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of affluent clients, delivering personalized wealth planning and investment solutions in a fast-paced, regulatory-compliant environment.

You will build lasting client relationships, conduct suitability assessments, and achieve revenue targets while maintaining advisory quality. Proficiency in English and Chinese is essential; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Wealth Management and/or Retail Banking, with experience serving high net worth customers.
• Passed HKSI Papers 1 and 4 and qualified IIQE Papers 1, 2, and 3.
• CFP, CPWP, CFA, ECF-WM, or other professional wealth management qualifications will be an advantage.
• Proven track record in achieving investment and insurance sales targets.
• Strong product knowledge of investment products and insurance solutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with affluent clientele.
• Fluent in English and Chinese; Mandarin an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of customers by providing personalized wealth management and financial planning services.
• Build trusted and long-term customer relationships through regular portfolio reviews, proactive engagement, and timely identification of customers’ evolving financial needs.
• Conduct comprehensive suitability assessments to recommend suitable investment and insurance solutions, including mutual funds and bancassurance.
• Achieve revenue targets while maintaining a strong focus on customer outcomes and advisory quality.
• Identify opportunities to deepen customer relationships by increasing product penetration across the Bank's wealth and banking offerings.
• Partner closely with different stakeholders to deliver holistic wealth solutions and exceptional customer experiences.
• Stay abreast of market developments, investment trends, economic conditions, and competitor activities to provide timely and relevant advice to customers.
• Ensure all sales and advisory activities are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements, suitability standards, and the Bank's policies and procedures.

What is required and what we’re looking for:
