Job summary

Hongkong Land is seeking an experienced Manager, Group Health & Safety to set strategic direction and enable delivery across the organisation. You will lead audits, assurance programmes, and the evolution of a data-driven H&S function with digital tools for performance management, analytics and reporting.

You will partner with Portfolio H&S Leads and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment, governance, and effective execution of responsibilities in a complex, multi-site environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, shape and execute the Group-wide Health & Safety strategy, governance frameworks and transformation initiatives.
• Lead independent Group-level audits and compliance programmes, reporting material risks to senior leadership.
• Manage KPI frameworks and reporting cycles, ensuring data accuracy for ESG disclosures.
• Oversee enterprise reporting platforms and digital solutions for Health & Safety data.
• Track incident investigations, root cause analysis and ensure robust remediation actions.

Job description

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced health and safety professional with leadership ambition to shape and lead a Group-wide transformation. As Hongkong Land continues to grow, this role will define and embed a clear strategic direction for Health & Safety - strengthening performance, aligning assurance approaches, and building a more proactive, high-performing safety culture across the organisation.

As Manager, Group Health & Safety, you will serve as a connector across the organisation and operate at both strategic and operational levels - setting direction while enabling delivery. You will also oversee the health & safety audit and assurance programmes, and lead the evolution of a more integrated, data-driven function, including the adoption of digital tools to enhance performance management, analytics, and reporting.

Your new role will:

• Design, shape and execute the Group-wide Health & Safety strategy, governance frameworks, and transformation initiatives to elevate standards across the organisation.
• Lead independent Group-level audits and compliance programmes, reporting material risks to senior leadership.
• Manage KPI frameworks and reporting cycles, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency to support ESG disclosures
• Maintain oversight of any Group-wide Health & Safety enterprise reporting platforms and digital solutions.
• Track and ensure incident investigations, root cause analysis, and ensure robust remediation actions are executed.
• Partnering with Portfolio Health & Safety Leads and internal stakeholders (Legal, Risk, Sustainability) to ensure alignment and seamless execution of H&S responsibilities.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science or related discipline. Professional certifications (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH) or equivalent is an advantage.
• 8+ years of progressive Health & Safety experience, including leadership roles in listed multi-national real estate organisations with multi-site or regional organisations.
• Strong working knowledge of Health & Safety management systems, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Experience in driving transformation, audit and assurance programmes, improving organisational safety performance and ISO systems is preferred.
• Results-oriented, collaborative leader with a continuous improvement mindset, capable of influencing across all levels and communicating complex insights to senior stakeholders with clarity and impact.
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English & Chinese.
